$0 Down, with 0% Interest for 12 months (WAC)

March 6th, 2019 | Posted by Matthew Shattuck in Vending machine business | Vending machines | Vending machines for sale - (Comments Off on $0 Down, with 0% Interest for 12 months (WAC))

eVending is hoping to help increase your cash flow this spring by offering a special $0 down, with 0% interest for 12 months (WAC) promotion. Jumping on board with eVending this month is a very cost effective strategy to add extra cash to your business. Maybe you’ve thought about vending and when to start, now is a great time. Interest rates steadily climbed in 2018 and this year they will likely rise as well, so now is a great time to use our $0 down, with 0% interest for 12 months (WAC) promotion.

In the beginning of 2019 Bankrate noted regarding interest rates, “Uncertainty looms ahead as we transition into 2019. But this remains clear: Borrowing costs – at least for now – are still going up.” After four interest rate hikes in 2018 there’s likely to be at least 2 in 2019 according to the article. At the end of January, Kiplinger stated that  the Federal Reserve will hold off on raising interest rates until June, but to still expect an increase later in 2019. As we moved through February the timeline for an interest rate increase was not decided. The Wall Street Journal quoted Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell February 26th, speaking to lawmakers in the Senate Banking Committee, “With our policy rate in the range of neutral, with muted inflation pressures and with some of the downside risks we’ve talked about, this is a good time to be patient and watch and wait and see how the situation evolves.” Most experts seem to think that interest rates will increase this year but are uncertain exactly when and how much.

What you can count on this year are quality vending machines and the best customer service from eVending. Our March financing special is just the icing on the cake to our product. We’ve been in the vending industry for over 80 years and continually trusted for our American made vending machines. Take advantage of our March financing promotion today and pay 0% interest on your machine for 12 months while you collect cash from your vending customers. For more information on our $0 down, with 0% interest for 12 months (WAC) special call us today at 1-888-568-4896.

Mobile Payment Options Increase Vending Machine Sales

June 29th, 2016 | Posted by DT in Buy vending machines | Vending machines - (Comments Off on Mobile Payment Options Increase Vending Machine Sales)

CardReaderAs technology progresses, fewer and fewer consumers are carrying cash and coins. Instead, financial transactions via credit and mobile devices are becoming more common. What’s more, card swiping devices, mobile payment, and other digital payment options are predicted to overtake ‘traditional’ payment methods in the near future, making it a must have in today’s vending market.

Research reveals that 49% of consumers, and 56% of Millennials, are already using / interested in using mobile payment technology and 18% of consumers say that they would use mobile payments if more locations accepted it.

Many consumers today, Millennials in particular, rarely carry cash and prefer cashless options such as credit / debit cards or other options such as Apple Pay which will likely be a revenue driver for vending machines. In fact, a recent study that began in March of 2016 found that vending machines advertising Apple Pay increased overall revenue by 22% while contactless purchases from those same vending machines rose 89%.

With all of that said, the market for cash and coin vending is still viable so don’t scrap your traditional payment acceptors just yet. The best way to increase your profit would be to provide customers with the best of both worlds by installing both cashless payment options and coin and cash acceptors on your machines.

All of eVending’s machines are equipped with the latest electronic coin changer and bill acceptor and have a standard peripheral opening for additional payment options such as Greenlite, a cashless system that accepts debit / credit cards and mobile payments including Apple Pay.  With Greenlite, you are able to remotely monitor your vending machine’s transactions from your web-based account.

Contact eVending today if you are interested purchasing a new vending machine with a cashless system or would like to add Greenlite’s mobile / wireless payment option to an existing vending machine.

Happy early Halloween from eVending! There are hundreds of iconic horror movie props that have made their way into our memories, from hockey masks to axes and even a VHS tape. This Halloween season, the marketing team at Rice Krispies has certainly moved snack machines, and vending machines at large, into the that-was-really-scary part of many hungry mall-goers’ minds.

A recent Halloween prank from Rice Krispies involved passersby that were looking for a quick and tasty snack from a spooky-looking vending machine that dispensed Rice Krispies “Scares.” What they received in return was a momentarily terrifying experience where horrifying hands suddenly appeared where they were expecting a sweet snack. Biometric Technology in Your Life

September 24th, 2013 | Posted by DT in Combo vending machines | Vending machines - (Comments Off on Biometric Technology in Your Life)

Not that long ago, biometric technology was only seen in sci-fi or spy movies. Technology that allows us to scan a fingerprint or eyes, detect specific faces through cameras or access and use computers with our hands and eyes.

Now, biometric technology, or the identification of humans by their characteristics or trains by technology, is becoming so commonplace that it is even incorporated into our cell phones. Finger print scanners are one of the most popular forms of biometric technology and are used mainly for authenticating access to devices or programs and as a replacement for passwords.

While the debate of whether biometrics are a secure replacement for traditional passwords or security measures is on-going, there is a wide range of uses for biometrics that we can use every day to make our lives easier and our daily tasks more efficient.

Combo drink snack machines can even benefit from these exciting new technologies. Just a few months ago, eVending posted about a coffee manufacturer promoted their products with a vending machine that used facial recognition to detect when someone in front of the machine yawned.  Things like voice recognition or facial recognition could provide personal greetings, payment options or selection recommendations for patrons.

Dare to Be Tender Vending Campaign

September 9th, 2013 | Posted by DT in Snack Machines | Snack vending machines - (Comments Off on Dare to Be Tender Vending Campaign)

Modern societies are often criticized for our detachment from others. While we are more connected to each other than ever before through tools such as social media, emails, cell phones, and text-messages, face-to-face interactions and awareness of what is around us are suffering. One chocolate company is working to help us unite and “Dare to Be Tender” in their new marketing campaign that employs a very purple cow.

Swiss chocolate company Milka introduced a new vending machine in a public area in Argentina that encourages strangers to come together and join hands with one another in order to create a “chain of tenderness” between their chocolate snack machine and a branded purple cow statue. Once enough hands were joined to connect the statue’s hoof to a large button on the machine, free chocolate bars dispensed for all those participating.

As the vending continued throughout the day, the cow statue was moved farther and farther away from the machine, requiring more and more people to join hands. eVending agrees that there are few things more joyous than receiving free chocolate bars and this video created by Milka of this cultural-awareness lesson by a vending machine is very fun to watch.

Solutions for Cashless Customers

Combo Drink Snack MachinesWanting a snack or beverage from the vending machine but not having any cash for the machine is a problem many potential vending clients encounter. According to a survey conducted last year by Rasmussen Reports, 40 percent of adults in the US said that they could go an entire week without using cash to pay for anything. It might be hard to imagine not using any cash for an entire week, but when you think about it, most businesses have credit and debit card readers or mobile payment options, bills can be paid electronically, and increases in the popularity of online shopping encourages digital payments.

In addition to providing your cashless-customers a method to purchase goods from your machines, utilizing this payment option can give you more insight into your vending business. Healthy Vending Options in Hospitals

August 12th, 2013 | Posted by DT in Snack vending machines | Vending machine - (Comments Off on Healthy Vending Options in Hospitals)

British hospitals are receiving criticism for their vending machine selections. Snack vending machines in English hospitals offer a fairly standard line-up of snack choices. The criticism is due to the lack of healthy choices and a tendency to offer high-calorie snacks from vending machines in an establishment that is supposed to promote and exemplify health.

A survey performed by the World Cancer Research Fund found that 73% of English health trusts do not have a policy on the food sold in their vending machines. 67% of hospitals that responded stated that they offered at least one healthier option for each product type, but that falls behind Welsh and Scottish policies. In both other nations, their governments have had guidelines in place for hospital vending machines since 2008 that recommend they be stocked with at least 30% healthier choice products.

The main concern comes from high-calorie snacks’ relation with obesity, which is a factor in the hospitalization of many patients that the snacks will be sold to, as well as making sure health providers send a clear message on good nutrition. While common vending machine snacks will still be sold, offering healthier options will give patients, staff and visitors that are often in hospitals for long periods of time options that will be better for their diets.

eVending has found that policies and guidelines similar to those in currently in place in the United Kingdom are taking hold in many US hospitals, giving patients, staff and visitors healthier vending options.
