Vending Machine ComboHave you been looking for a great way to upgrade your office? Combo snack and drink vending machines are an easy way to add a new feature to your office or break room. With the space saving design of the Futura vending machine from eVending,  you will have both drinks and snacks in on machine!

To start your office vending service initiative, first make sure that you have space and demand for the machine. Taking a quick survey of the office and finding out what employees needs and wants you can meet with a office vending machine will help you determine what kind of machine you will need to purchase. Space is important because while the Futura vending machine is a space saver with its combination design, it is still a large piece of equipment and if your doors, hallways or break room are not big enough installing the machine will be very difficult.

If space is at a premium in your office, eVending also offers a Table Top vending machine that fits up to 150 items and is only “25 inches tall!

Successful Vending Takes More than Just Numbers

Combo Drink Snack MachinesVending machines for sale currently often feature great software that allows operators to monitor a multitude of operations their machines perform. From knowing how much revenue was made by the hour, how much of each product sold, any service issues that may have occurred and more, vending machines are becoming smarter and able to track more and more useful information. This data is extremely useful for vending operators, like any business person, and often helps to solve a lot of problems and make decisions. An article at Vending Times by Hank Schlesinger discusses the value of feedback from sources other than vending machines.

The people that interact with vending machines and the facilities that they are located in often have anecdotal information that can be crucial to a successful vending service. As vending operators that have machines located anywhere people interact with them, you have to have a feel for how each of your locations operate, how the managers and owners you interact with feel or think about different things and how your customers go about their day-to-day business among other things.

While eVending loves the advances in technology that give vending operators a wealth of information to work with, keeping in touch with the people that interact with your machine is extremely important for a successful vending operation.

Cashless Trends

October 14th, 2013 | Posted by Ajax Union in Snack vending machines | Vending machines for sale - (Comments Off on Cashless Trends)

Snack MachinesCashless payments are more popular than ever. Retailers, restaurants, online stores and even utility companies are switching (or more than likely have switched) to some form of digital payment. For retailers, the use of NFC technology has become increasingly popular. This technology allows customers to use credit and debit cards with small chips or cell phones with NFC technology to interact with NFC readers and make cashless payments without having to swipe a card or scan anything.

For credit and debit card users, payment options are becoming even easier as well. Especially for small businesses or vending machine operators, there are more and more options available that are easy to use. For retailers, products such as Apple’s Square card reader give small businesses the ability to process credit and debit card transactions with only a Square device and their Apple iPad or iPhone. New vending machines for sale like the Futura models from eVending have card readers that give patrons the option to pay for snacks and drinks with credit and debit cards. For vending operators, this feature also creates opportunities to track transactions and monitor machine performance.

Combo Drink Snack MachinesWanting a snack or beverage from the vending machine but not having any cash for the machine is a problem many potential vending clients encounter. According to a survey conducted last year by Rasmussen Reports, 40 percent of adults in the US said that they could go an entire week without using cash to pay for anything. It might be hard to imagine not using any cash for an entire week, but when you think about it, most businesses have credit and debit card readers or mobile payment options, bills can be paid electronically, and increases in the popularity of online shopping encourages digital payments.

Vending machines for sale at eVending.com are available with cashless vending options such as credit card readers for your vending machines. In addition to providing your cashless-customers a method to purchase goods from your machines, utilizing this payment option can give you more insight into your vending business. When you purchase the cellular-based credit card reader from eVending, you gain the ability to remotely monitor your vending machine transaction anywhere you have wireless access on a computer of mobile device! Machines equipped with this technology are still able to accept cash and coin payments, making sure you do not miss any vending opportunities!

Vending in the News: T-Shirts from a Billboard Vending Machine?

January 21st, 2013 | Posted by Ajax Union in Vending machines for sale - (Comments Off on Vending in the News: T-Shirts from a Billboard Vending Machine?)

eVendingHere at eVending, we love showcasing the latest innovations in the vending world, from the futuristic to the straight-up wacky. Fortunately for our industry, the trend of cool new creations has yet to slow down, as evidenced by this report from Fast Company. Clothing company Allen Solly has come up with a creative way to promote its new collection by dispensing sample shirts through a billboard.

Yes, you read that correctly. Allen Solly has employed the use of a hybrid billboard/vending machine that gives out free shirts in exchange for a simple Tweet. When customers tweeted using the hashtag #RainingSolly, the shirts would move closer and closer to the edge of the billboard, eventually falling out for any lucky fans waiting for a freebie. By utilizing advanced technology to sync Twitter with the billboard, the company was able to gather an enthusiastic crowd of excited potential customers, as evidenced by the video below. Nothing builds brand loyalty by some free stuff given out in a really cool way, and we are sure that people will remember Allen Solly for this unique promotion.

We are consistently amazed and inspired by the various ways that companies use vending products to expand the reach of their business. And while the billboard machine is cool, increasing your income can be just as simple as putting one of our traditional vending machines for sale in your establishment. If you are looking for loyal customers and solid profit, browse our vending products today!

Vending in the News: Students Engage in Healthy Vending Activities

January 7th, 2013 | Posted by Ajax Union in Vending machines for sale - (Comments Off on Vending in the News: Students Engage in Healthy Vending Activities)

eVendingWhether you have been keeping up with recent vending news or have simply taken a look at the machines around you, one thing is clear: healthy vending is here to stay. There are plenty of low-calorie snacks that make a suitable replacement to the typical greasy treats found in most snack vending machines, and machine owners and operators are starting to make big changes. In Asheville, North Carolina, it is not just vending machine companies making big changes: seventh grade students have been putting their algebra studies to work by coming up with ways to make the vending experience both satisfying and calorie conscious.

Evergreen Community Charter School has been named a Green Ribbon school for its commitment to healthy and environmentally-friendly products, and the school has been using its own students to figure out the healthy vending guidelines for new machines. Students were tasked with figuring out things such as pricing, environmental impact, and types of snacks that would fit into a combo vending machine. The school has already met Green Ribbon guidelines for its hot lunches, and is well on its way towards implementing them into vending machines. If you are looking to start a healthy, eco-friendly vending movement of your own, our vending machines for sale make a great place to start!

Vending in the News: CAT Rack Makes Bulk Vending Easy

December 18th, 2012 | Posted by Ajax Union in Vending machines for sale - (Comments Off on Vending in the News: CAT Rack Makes Bulk Vending Easy)

eVendingWe are huge fans of vending innovations here at eVending, and a recent story on the Vending Times could not help but catch our attention. The new “CAT rack” bulk operator makes using small candy and gumball vending machines easier than ever, while no longer limiting their customer base to those who have a few loose quarters around.

Short for Currency Activated Technology, the CAT rack acts as a central hub for a series of small snack vending machines. Customers can insert a dollar bill into the rack, after which they can freely choose which vending machine they would like to receive a treat from. Novelty vending machines such as the ones found in movie theaters and supermarkets typically force consumers to find somewhere to make change, but the CAT rack finally makes the dollar useable with a quarter machine. The device is currently being tested in upper Manhattan, New York.

While this device is only being tested on mini vending machines, the potential of the CAT rack is endless. The CAT’s creator would like the product to evolve to the point of cashless transactions and become compatible with new point of sale methods. Could this device ever tie together a network of our vending machines for sale? We shall wait and see!

Vending in the News: Tecom’s Reverse Vending Machine

December 10th, 2012 | Posted by Ajax Union in Vending machines for sale - (Comments Off on Vending in the News: Tecom’s Reverse Vending Machine)

eVendingWhen you hear the term “reverse vending machine,” you might imagine a traditional snack machine turned upside down, or perhaps a bag of chips walking up to a machine to purchase humans. Well, reverse vending machines do exist, but they are not as out there as they might sound.

Through a unique partnership, Dubai’s Tecom Business Parks just launched the ReVa reverse vending machine. A collaboration between Enpark, Averda, and Air Miles, the machine allows customers to exchange plastic bottles and aluminum cans for Air Miles points, which yeild users a variety of shopping rewards. Customers receive two Air Miles per unit recycled at any of the 15 ReVa machines in the Tecom parks.

“By making recycling more accessible, the ReVa reverse vending machine is also working to change the habits of those working in and living near Tecom free zones,” said Enpark director Saad Bin Ghubash in a recent Trade Arabia article. Not only does the ReVa offer excellent rewards to users, but it encourages a habit of recycling that benefits the entire world in the end.

The ReVa machine is just one of the many examples of how much the vending industry has achieved. Are you looking for an affordable way to become a part of this exciting business? Our vending machines for sale are a great way to get started!

Vending in the News: IKEA Shows Off New Machines

November 27th, 2012 | Posted by Ajax Union in Vending machines for sale - (Comments Off on Vending in the News: IKEA Shows Off New Machines)

eVendingAs we mentioned last week, the vending industry is making some truly great strides when it comes to creating the machines of the future. More and more everyday products that you would not expect are winding up in vending machines all over the world, redefining the very concept of the classic combo drink and snack machine. Swedish furniture giants IKEA are one of the latest companies to get in on the trend, expanding their reach to a whole new audience.

We know what you may be thinking, and no, IKEA has not found a way to cram couches and bookcases into a metal machine. Instead, they have come up with a very clever way to market the upcoming launch of their Winnipeg store in Canada. The furniture company has placed several big yellow vending machines selling snacks and IKEA gift cards in various hotspots around the city. The bottom of each machine reads “Opening November 28th” to promote the new store. This is some truly fantastic marketing that vending machine companies should take note of, though we would not be surprised if these machines will actually dispense said furniture sometime in the future.

Feeling inspired by this? Looking to expand the reach of your business or simply earn some guaranteed pocket change? We have some excellent vending machines for sale to get you started!
